Mittal Timbbar, established in 1983, has spent four decades building one of India's most trusted supply chains for imported softwood timber. Today, we stand as the country's largest importer of Brazilian Pine wood, bringing premium-grade Pinus elliottii and Pinus taeda from the plantations of southern Brazil to builders, furniture manufacturers, and joinery units across India.
What Makes Brazilian Pine Special
Brazilian Pine is a fast-growing, plantation-sourced softwood harvested from the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul. Unlike naturally felled timber, it comes from managed forests — making it a genuinely renewable, eco-conscious choice for Indian buyers.
The wood itself is prized for its clean, pale cream-to-light-brown grain and its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. It machines beautifully, holds nails and screws securely, takes paint, polish, and lamination evenly, and resists warping when properly seasoned. Its natural resin content offers moderate resistance to moisture and termites, and every consignment we import is kiln-dried and graded to meet Indian climatic conditions.
Why Mittal Timbbar
Four decades in the trade means four decades of relationships — with Brazilian sawmills, with shipping lines, and with the Indian traders and manufacturers who depend on us. We import in bulk, which lets us offer consistent quality at competitive landed prices. Our inventory is available in multiple thicknesses, widths, and lengths, ready for door cores, furniture frames, panelling, window sections, packaging, and structural applications.
Our team handles documentation, customs clearance, and logistics end-to-end, so buyers receive material on schedule and to specification. Every batch is inspected for moisture content, knots, and dimensional accuracy before it leaves our yard.
